Playa Muelle de La Pescadería is a coastal bathing beach in Arrecife, Lanzarote, Spain. The beach is 46 metres long and 3 metres wide, with a rocky substrate. It is exposed to wave action but has calm water conditions with a tidal range of 1–3 metres. The beach experiences motor boat and non-motorised boat activities, as well as kayaking and canoeing.

Located in Arrecife, Lanzarote, Las Palmas province, Canary Islands, Spain. Pedestrian access available but in poor condition. Vehicle access not available. Parking available but in poor condition. Located near Puerto Los Mármoles.

Bars available. Waste bins available. Pedestrian access (poor condition). Promenade present. No public water supply. No showers. No foot wash facilities. No restrooms. No changing rooms. No public telephone. No megaphone system. No disabled access. No first aid service. No doctor. No lifeguards.

Water Quality

Water quality classification based on evaluation of Escherichia coli and intestinal Enterococci indicators collected over four years according to RD 1341/2007. The water body is in good ecological condition (biological and physical-chemical), with overall good or better status. A microbiological contamination episode of short duration occurred 09–11 May 2011.

Risks

Diffuse pollution source: Puerto Los Mármoles - Arrecife. Point pollution sources: Casino wastewater treatment plant, EDAR Arrecife submarine outfall, Portugal and Las Buganvillas wastewater treatment plants, sanitation relief valve in Cabildo area. Short-duration contamination events expected from stormwater discharge due to heavy rainfall and untreated or treated urban wastewater (pipeline breaks, network failures, emergency overflows, unauthorised discharges, accidental hydrocarbon spills, organic waste, ship cleaning). Cyanobacteria Trichodesmium proliferation episodes recorded in 2004, 2010, and more intensely in 2017. No risk from jellyfish or sea urchins. No risk from macroalgae.
