Tavernes de La Valldigna beach is a longitudinal open-configuration beach located in the municipality of Tavernes de La Valldigna in Valencia province, Spain. The beach is 2,004 meters long with an average width of 35 meters and is composed of artificial sand. It has no maritime promenade or coastal defence structures. The beach is bordered to the north by La Goleta beach and to the south by Xeraco beach.

Water Quality

Water quality is classified as excellent based on monitoring results for years 2020–2023. Monitoring point 'Camino del Mar' (ES52300238M46238A1) established since 1987. Weekly inspections conducted during bathing season assess visual inspection parameters, beach maintenance, access conditions, and services functionality. A direct discharge (Canal junto Edificio San Pablo) of mixed origin discharges continuously into the coast with medium risk classification. Two wastewater treatment plants serve the municipality: EDAR Tavernes–Basa (design flow 3,000 m³/d, 2020 actual flow 1,372 m³/d, secondary treatment plus chlorination, removal efficiencies SS 92%, BOD₅ 97%, COD 88%) and EDAR Tavernes–Goleta (design flow 1,800 m³/d, 2020 actual flow 997 m³/d, secondary treatment plus chlorination, removal efficiencies SS 75%, BOD₅ 76%, COD 60%). Potential contamination risk factors from rainfall, urban sanitation, and coastal discharges are classified as low frequency with slight impact.

Potential for phytoplankton proliferation and jellyfish blooms as natural phenomena associated with coastal geomorphology and climatic conditions, though more common in low-renewal bathing zones.
