Playa de La Goleta is a beach located in Tavernes de la Valldigna, Valencia, Spain. It features an open longitudinal configuration with no coastal defence structures or promenade. Location

Tavernes de la Valldigna, Valencia province, Community of Valencia, Spain. The beach is bordered to the north by Playa del Brosquill and to the south by Playa de Tavernes de la Valldigna. Parking is available. Access is provided for people with disabilities.

Water Quality

Water quality classification for the monitoring point Paseo de los Naranjos received an Excellent rating across 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023. Water quality management is governed by Royal Decree 1341/2007. Weekly inspections are conducted during the bathing season assessing visual inspection parameters and beach maintenance conditions.

Risks

A discharge point (La Goleta) is located at the northern boundary with mixed-origin outflow of agricultural type, 4 meters wide, with metal gates, low risk, and seasonal frequency. Potential short-term contamination factors evaluated as low frequency and mild effect: rainfall, urban wastewater, coastal discharges. Other potential risk factors (rivers/canals, industrial installations, port installations, diffuse pollution) also rated low frequency and mild effect.
