Risks

Identified pollution sources include two primary treatment plants with surface discharge outlets (one in via Roma at Praia and one in via S. Nicola at Vettica, both with submarine outfall pipes), a pumping station with emergency discharge in via Rezzola, and potential submarine pipeline ruptures from the via S. Nicola treatment plant.
