Water quality classification: excellent (2021–2024). E. coli 95th percentile: 11.91 CFU/100 mL; 90th percentile: 8.013 CFU/100 mL. Enterococcus 95th percentile: 11.672 CFU/100 mL; 90th percentile: 7.941 CFU/100 mL. Pollution sources identified: mixed municipal wastewater conveyance system with emergency overflow weirs, consortium collector, meteorological water discharge conduits, and the Peschiera del Garda treatment plant discharging into the Mincio River.
