Rainha is a small sandy beach with calm waters located between cliffs in the center of Cascais. The sheltered setting and calm sea conditions make it suitable for swimming for both children and adults.

Risks

Low risk of short-term pollution events lasting 1–2 days, occurring due to excessive rainwater drainage flow and proximity to Ribeira das Vinhas and Ribeira da Castelhana streams during heavy precipitation. Low proliferation potential for cyanobacteria, macroalgae, and phytoplankton.
