Rėkyvos lake bathing site is located in Šiauliai city, Lithuania, within Rėkyvos manor park. The beach features a natural, slightly wavy lakeshore structure with grass coverage and some areas filled with imported sand. The bathing area has a shoreline length of 215 metres, with water depths ranging from 0.70 metres average to a maximum of 1.60 metres. The lake belongs to the Mūša river sub-basin within the Lielupė river basin.

Children's play area with wooden swings; rescue post; medical point; walking and cycling paths; car parking; non-smoking zone; 2 toilets; accessible toilet for disabled persons. Waste bins (household and sorted waste containers) maintained daily during season.

Water Quality

Water quality classified as excellent from 2017–2023; classified as good in 2024. Total phosphorus and total nitrogen concentrations do not exceed maximum permitted levels. Ecological potential classified as poor; designated as a risk water body. Natural brown colouration from suspended peat particles (12–26 mg/l). Macroalgae occurrences observed July–August. Water transparency monitored.

Risks

Macroalgae bloom occurs July–August months. Short-term pollution from rainfall surface runoff and soil leaching from Rėkyva settlement. No industrial, agricultural, or other significant pollution sources identified in the area. Single point pollution source: 30th rainwater outlet discharging from residential area.
