Location

Rodi Garganico, in the province of Foggia, Puglia region, Italy. The bathing area is known as S. Barbara and is located 50 metres to the left (50 MT SX) of a reference point.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2017–2020). No short-term pollution events were recorded in the preceding four years. The primary identified potential pollution source is the Rodi Garganico wastewater treatment plant with submarine discharge outlets receiving discharge from civil and industrial settlements.

Risks

No algal blooms or cyanobacterial proliferation detected. No toxic phytoplankton or macroalgae proliferation cases identified. No anomalous situations verified.
