Sbocco Valle Randina

Sbocco Valle Randina is a bathing area located on Lake Garda in the Veneto region. The beach is oriented northwest within the inlet of Pini Bay, approximately 100 metres north of Torri del Benaco's historic centre. The beach width ranges from 5 to 10 metres. The bathing water has been classified as excellent for the period 2021–2024.

Location

Torri del Benaco, Verona Province, Veneto Region. The beach is situated in Pini Bay inlet, 100 metres north of the town centre. Area extends 0.668 km².

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2021–2024). Enterococcus (intestinal) 95th percentile: 3.508 CFU/100 ml; 90th percentile: 2.829 CFU/100 ml. E. coli 95th percentile: 7.706 CFU/100 ml; 90th percentile: 5.584 CFU/100 ml.

Risks

Pollution sources include: mixed municipal wastewater conveyance system with emergency overflow outlets; consortium collector; stormwater discharge conduits; and the Peschiera del Garda wastewater treatment plant, which discharges to the Mincio River in Lombardy. River outlets from Valle Randina have been identified as pollution causes.
