Spiaggia Acciaroli (nord Porto) is a sandy beach located in Pollica, in the Salerno province of Campania. The beach is situated on a low coastline characterised predominantly by sandy shore. The area is rural and moderately urbanised, with the settlement of Acciaroli and a port area to the south of the beach section.

Risks

Possible pollution sources identified: a lifting pump and emergency overflow located west of Acciaroli port at the sampling point; Acciaroli port on the east side; potential breaks in the submarine outfall pipe from the wastewater treatment plant in Acciaroli locality.
