Springsee is a lake situated approximately 9 kilometers southeast of Storkow in the Dahme Heath Lakes Nature Park. The 58-hectare lake is part of the Glubig Lake Chain and has a maximum depth of 19 meters with stable temperature layering during summer. The catchment area of almost 12 square kilometers is 88 percent forested. Water exchange occurs approximately every 6 to 7 years. The lake receives inflow from Grubensee and has no other significant surface inflows.
