Grubensee, also called Tiefer See, is a natural forest lake in the Dahme Heath Lakes Nature Park near Limsdorf, approximately 12 km southeast of Storkow. The lake covers 58 hectares with a maximum depth of 23.4 m and is fed by groundwater rather than surface inflows. It is the uppermost lake in the Glubigseenkette chain and has a small, almost entirely forested catchment area of 3.4 km² located within the Schwenower Forest Nature Protection Area. Summer water clarity averages 2.3 m visibility, supporting oligotrophic conditions.
