Stauweiher Ewersbach is a reservoir in the northern Lahn-Dill district at the foot of the Rothaar Mountains, constructed in 1925/26 by 30 unemployed workers as a public works project. Originally built to generate electricity, it has served as a free public bathing lake for the local community. The lake covers 1.9 hectares with a maximum depth of 3.8 metres and average depth of 2 metres. Water supply comes seasonally from the Burbach stream, with summer inflow limited to prevent excessive cooling.
