Strandbad Knesebeck is a former flooded clay pit that originated around 1935 following the closure of an adjacent brick factory. The bathing area is located in close proximity to a campsite featuring a mini-golf facility and an artificial bathing water pool with a water slide. The water body is classified as an inland lake.
