Castellabate, Salerno Province, Campania region. The bathing water is identified at coordinates corresponding to a monitoring point on the rocky coast.

Water Quality

Classification: Excellent (2020-2021-2022-2023 monitoring years). Two biological wastewater treatment plants with activated sludge systems serve the area: one located in Maroccia discharging into Vallone Valsella, and one in Ogliastro Marina discharging into Vallone Arena. No probable pollution sources are currently identified.
