Plage Valentin is a bathing beach located in Batz-sur-Mer in Loire-Atlantique, Pays de La Loire region, part of the Cap Atlantique intercommunal territory. The beach is situated on the southern aspect of the Croisic Peninsula, which features a wild coastline and impressive dune systems. The site has experienced excellent and stable water quality for over 10 years with no short-term pollution episodes recorded. The beach experiences strong seasonal use during the bathing season and is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean.

Location

Batz-sur-Mer, Loire-Atlantique, Pays de La Loire, France. Located on the Croisic Peninsula between the Loire and Vilaine rivers, part of Cap Atlantique territory comprising 15 communes.

Season

Official opening period: 15 June to 15 September. Official monitoring period: 1 July to 31 August. Surveillance hours: 13:30 to 19:00.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent under Directive 2006/7/CE for all monitoring periods 2004-2007, 2005-2008, 2006-2009, and 2007-2010. Under Directive 76/160/CEE (2007-2010), all years classified as A (good quality). No verified sources of bacteriological pollution detected. Water quality has remained excellent and stable for over 10 years with no short-term pollution episodes observed.
