Waldbad Zeischa is a bathing area within the Zeischa gravel pit lake, located approximately 3 km southeast of Bad Liebenwerda on the western edge of the Lower Lusatia Heathland Nature Park. The lake has a surface area of 52 hectares and a maximum depth of 35 metres, with the bathing bay separated from the main lake by a narrow 10-metre strait. The water is fed solely by groundwater with no surface inflows or outflows, resulting in excellent water clarity with mean summer visibility exceeding 2 metres. The bathing area offers a very good water quality with no exceedances of microbiological parameters and no observed cyanobacterial blooms.
