Weisslahn, Ost is an artificially constructed lake fed by groundwater, covering 1.6 hectares with a maximum depth of 8.8 meters. Located in Austria, it is connected via a pipe to a smaller fish pond on its north-east side. The eastern area transitions into a densely reed-covered wetland where grass snakes are regularly observed in summer.
