Wolfgangsee is a lake with an area of 13.0 km² located mostly in the state of Salzburg, Austria. The lake is divided into two basins by the alluvial cone of the Zinkenbach stream. The upper water layers warm relatively quickly during summer. Visibility depth can be reduced, particularly in the St. Wolfganger section, when the Zinkenbach carries mineral suspended matter during high water events.
