Conductivity ranges from 220 to 250 µS/cm with an average of 235. Transparency ranges from 3 to 10 metres with an average of 5 metres. The water body is eutrophic (trophic level 3), stratified, and has a water exchange time exceeding 30 days. Elevation exceeds 200 metres above sea level. Catchment area is between 100 and 1000 square kilometres. Substrate consists of rock and gravel with silicate geology. Water level fluctuations range from 2.4 to 10.9 metres with a mean of 5.1 metres.
