A sandy beach with over 99% sand composition and medium grain size (D50 = 0.221). The beach has a nearly flat profile with a slope of approximately 4–5% and an average width of about 70 metres. The beach is located within the Parco Marino Torre del Cerrano, a 2550-metre section of Silvi Marina's shoreline that contains 27 beach concessions. The surrounding area is occupied by urban settlements and structures connected to summer tourism activities.

Coastal water body. The monitoring point (ARTA n. 75) is located within the Parco Marino Torre del Cerrano section, which extends 2550 metres along the coast.

Location

Silvi Marina, in the municipality of Silvi, Province of Teramo, Abruzzo region. The bathing area is part of the Parco Marino Torre del Cerrano within Silvi Marina's coastline.

Facilities

First aid assistance services, toilets, and other hygiene facilities are available at each beach concession structure. Multiple food and beverage services and sports facilities with beach volleyball courts are present. Pet access is regulated under Regional Law 19/2014 (dated 4 April 2014).

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent. The water body is classified as Coastal Waters – Flat Terrain – Medium Stability – C2. No specific recent contamination events have been recorded. River mouth discharge is identified as a potential source of impact.
