A sandy beach with over 99% sand content and medium grain size, located in the Silvi Marina area of Abruzzo. The beach has a nearly flat slope of approximately 4–5% and an average width of about 70 metres. The beach is situated within the Torre del Cerrano Marine Park, a 2.55 km stretch containing 27 beach concessions. The surrounding area is occupied by urban settlements and tourist-related structures linked to summer bathing activities.

Water

Coastal waters of the Cerrano river mouth. The water body is classified as Acque Costiere - Pianura Litoranea - Media Stabilità - C2. The hydrographic basin is CI_Cerrano_1.

Location

Silvi, Teramo Province, Abruzzo region. The bathing area extends along the Silvi Marina coastline for approximately 7 km total, with the monitoring point ARTA n. 85 located within the Torre del Cerrano Marine Park. Beach access is available with parking and facilities provided by beach concessions.

First aid assistance services. Toilets and sanitary facilities. Multiple dining and catering points. Sports facilities including beach volleyball courts. Beach concessions with rental services for watercraft. Signage for bathing and navigation safety. Pet access regulated under regional law L.R. n. 19/07-04-2014.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: BUONA (Good). The bathing water is monitored by ARTA. Identified pollution source: the Cerrano river mouth. Wastewater from public sewerage is treated at a Consortium Treatment Plant located in Montesilvano, managed by ACA Spa. A secondary treatment plant using activated sludge is present in the Vallescura locality of Silvi Alta, regularly authorised and subject to routine controls by ARTA.
