The Calata Turchino bathing area in San Vito Chietino features pebbled and rocky beaches with an average usable width of approximately 15 metres. The surrounding area is occupied by scattered houses used predominantly for summer residence. The area is partially within the SIC 'Grotte delle Farfalle' protected site.
