A sandy beach with a gently sloping profile, located on the southern periphery of Villa Rosa in Martinsicuro. The beach extends approximately 680 metres with an average width of 55 metres. It experiences approximately 3,200 daily visitors during the high season. The water is classified as excellent quality.

Location

Martinsicuro, Teramo Province, Abruzzo Region, on the southern periphery of Villa Rosa. Parking is available, along with cycle-pedestrian paths.

Facilities

Lifeguards and first aid services; public and private toilets (with disabled access available in commercial facilities); parking; cycle-pedestrian paths; pine groves with children's play areas; sports facilities with football and basketball courts; hotels; restaurants and bars. Some beach establishments rent skates and canoes.

Season

Monitored from April to September.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent. Monitoring is conducted annually from April to September by ARTA Teramo. Treated wastewater has been directed since July 2022 to a treatment plant in Casa Santa, Alba Adriatica. No evidence of untreated wastewater discharge impacting the bathing water.
