Villa Rosa is a sandy beach located in the Martinsicuro municipality in the Abruzzo region of Italy. The beach has a moderately linear slope and extends for approximately 870 metres, with an average width of 70 metres. The bathing area is situated within the urban centre of the Villa Rosa district and receives an estimated 4000 daily bathers during peak season. The water is classified as excellent quality.

Location

Martinsicuro, Teramo Province, Abruzzo region, Italy. The beach is located at coordinates 42.85266°N, 13.92955°E. Car parking is available, as well as bicycle and pedestrian paths.

Lifeguards and first aid services. Public and private toilet facilities, with services reserved for disabled persons. Car parking. Bicycle and pedestrian paths. Pine groves with children's play areas. Nearby shopping centre. Multiple hotels. Restaurants and bars. Some beach establishments rent skates and canoes.

Monitoring conducted April to September.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent. Monitoring is conducted annually by ARTA Teramo from April to September. No evidence of untreated wastewater discharges impacting bathing water. As of July 2022, wastewater from the area is directed to the treatment plant at Casa Santa in Alba Adriatica; the previous facility at Villa Rosa ceased operations.
