No known pollution sources exist within the bathing water profile area.

Risks

Risk of cyanobacterial (blue-green algae) bloom is low. Risk of phytoplankton bloom is low. However, blooms can occur unexpectedly, particularly during prolonged warm periods with nutrient-rich water. Algae can produce toxic substances causing headaches, skin irritation, fever, nausea, and diarrhea upon contact or ingestion. Children and immunocompromised individuals are particularly vulnerable.
