Aveiros is a coastal bathing water located on a non-urban beach with intensive use in Albufeira municipality. The beach features golden sand with very eroded cliffs containing hollows and galleries, along with some rock formations in the bathing area. A temporary watercourse discharges onto the beach. The beach extends 80 metres with a tidal range of 3.4 metres and mean wave height of 0.5 metres, with winds typically from the east-southeast.
