Location

The bathing area is located in the communes of Ploulec'h and Ploumilliau, part of Lannion-Trégor Communauté in Brittany, France. The monitoring point is identified as Pont Roux.

Water Quality

Water quality has been classified according to both the 1976 and 2006 EU Bathing Water Directives. Bacteriological analyses measuring E. coli and enterococci have been conducted by the ARS (Regional Health Authority) between 2013 and 2019. The 95th percentile values for these indicators have been tracked to determine water quality classification. Nearby shellfish cultivation zones at Banc du Guer and recreational shellfish harvesting areas have also been monitored.
