Water quality classification is GOOD, based on 18 routine samples from 2020–2023. Escherichia coli 90th percentile: 33.0 MPN/100 ml, 95th percentile: 51.5 MPN/100 ml. Enterococchi 90th percentile: 148.3 MPN/100 ml, 95th percentile: 253.8 MPN/100 ml. The water body is classified as high pressure due to high density of sewage pipes and significant anthropic impact. A sewage overflow structure is present within 200 metres of the sampling point. The treatment plant is located approximately 5 kilometres north of the monitoring point.

Risks

Intense precipitation can trigger overflow structures, releasing untreated effluent into the lake. Accidental failures of lifting systems can discharge untreated sewage. Improper management of the sewage network is a potential pollution source.
