Barricata-nord is a beach located on the Adriatic Sea in the Po Delta region of northeastern Italy. The beach, also known as Spiaggia di Bonelli, extends for more than 3,000 metres on a natural sandbank called Scanno Barricata at the mouth of the Po di Tolle river. The surrounding area is characterized by a wild natural environment comprising lagoons, ponds, islands, dunes, and cultivated fields protected from the sea by extensive engineering works. The beach is situated south-east facing and backed by farmland, with the Sacca degli Scardovari/Bottonera transitional water area to the south.
