The Bleilochstausee, Remptendorfer Bucht bathing area is located on the southern shore of a bay within a reservoir completed in 1932. The bathing spot features a gently sloped beach composed of natural gravel or grass, approximately 20 meters wide, set in a quiet, forested location. The reservoir holds 215 million cubic meters of water across a length of 28 kilometers and is used for electricity generation and flood regulation. The surrounding environment is characterized by extensive forest coverage with spruce and mixed woodland, transitioning to agricultural land toward the towns of Röppisch and Remptendorf.
