Denteferro is a sandy bathing beach located in Pontecagnano Faiano, Salerno Province, Campania Region. The beach features tourist structures along the shoreline and is situated on a low-lying coast with residential settlements and moderate urbanization. The area is characterized by extensive agricultural land inland and the presence of a reclamation canal outlet to the north of the bathing zone.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Good (assessed for years 2020–2023 under Legislative Decree 116/2008). Identified pollution sources include the Picentino River, a reclamation canal, a pumping station (S8) with emergency overflow discharging to the sea, and a surface watercourse near the villa 'Acqua Mare Casa Maldone' to the east.
