Coastal water body within the Ceriale-Finale water body. The bathing area extends 0.736 square kilometres. The upstream zone is characterized by hilly, urbanized terrain.

Location

Borgio Verezzi, province of Savona, Liguria region. The competent authorities are the Municipality of Borgio Verezzi (Via Municipio 17) and the Guardia Costiera (Coast Guard) at Lungomare Matteotti n. 4/b, 17100. Emergency services available: 118 and 115.

Facilities

Private sea baths with associated services and other reception facilities. Animals are permitted in the area.

Water Quality

Classified as ECCELLENTE (Excellent) for the period 2008–2011. No coastal treatment plants, sewage pipes, or Imhoff tanks are present in the area. Cyanobacterial blooms are not characteristic of the Ligurian Sea due to its oligotrophic conditions. No cases of potentially toxic algal strains have been recorded.
