Gouville-sur-Mer beach, located on the coast of Normandy, is a bathing area positioned facing road RD 268. Water Quality

Water quality is monitored for faecal indicator germs under Directive 2006/7/CEE. Classifications have been recorded from 2013-2016. Shellfish production zones and recreational shellfish harvesting areas are subject to bacteriological monitoring. Identified pollution sources include coastal discharges, wastewater treatment plants, agricultural runoff, and non-collective sanitation systems.
