Location

Moneglia, Genoa province, Liguria region. The bathing area is associated with Torrente Bisagno watercourse and extends 0.468 km².

Facilities

Diving center, mooring point, boat and inflatable boat rental, bar, bathing establishments. Animals are permitted access to the area.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2008-2011). No coastal treatment plants, discharge pipes, or Imhoff tanks are present in the area. No particular monitoring measures or specific protocols are currently active.

Risks

The Ligurian Sea is not characterized by cyanobacterial blooms due to predominant oligotrophic conditions. No cases of potentially toxic algal strains proliferation have occurred in the last four years.
