Roncone Beach is a lakeside bathing area situated on Lake Roncone in the Trentino-Alto Adige region. The beach features a substantially flat grassy area with a length of 470 metres and a width ranging from 60 to 104 metres. The lake is nestled between meadows and beech forests and is surrounded by a scenic panoramic road that permits circumnavigation of the entire lake perimeter through alternating forest, grassy slopes, and reeds. The area is suitable for romantic walks and picnicking.

Water

Lake Roncone, a lake situated at 782 metres above sea level. The bathing area extends 643 square metres. The lake is part of the Chiese hydrological basin.

Location

Sella Giudicarie municipality, Trento province, Trentino-Alto Adige region. The beach is located at the base of the Roncone hamlet. An ample paved car park with delimited spaces and lighting is available, as well as a coach park. A bike-sharing station (E-bike) is provided.

Facilities

Lifeguard service on public beach with emergency tower and necessary equipment. Three self-supporting children's pools installed during bathing season. Info Point building with male, female, and disabled toilets and baby room. Mobile defibrillator. Beach volleyball court, inclusive playground, picnic and rest areas, wooden pontoons, multi-purpose tensile structure. Lakeside restaurant with car park and cyclist maintenance area. Bike-sharing station. Paved car park for vehicles and coaches with lighting. Barbecue area in adjacent grassy meadow to the north with picnic and rest areas. Illuminated north-south bike path connecting to neighbouring towns. Illuminated circumlacual promenade. Animals permitted.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2016–2019). No causes of possible pollution have been detected. The wastewater network is present with reference treatment facility at Pieve di Bono.
