Lapa dos Dinheiros is an inland bathing water located in the Ribeira da Caniça, a tributary of the Alva River, at approximately 700 meters altitude in the southwest part of the Serra da Estrela mountain range within the Serra da Estrela Natural Park. The beach is classified as Type II, with a rural settlement as its surrounding area. The predominant landscape consists of mountainous formations, slopes, and forest.
