Courégant Beach is a small sandy beach located on the western coast of the municipality of Plœmeur in Brittany, France. It occupies a sheltered cove approximately 150 metres long on the southern side of a rocky promontory. The beach is protected from western swells by the rocky headland that encloses it. It is situated in a recently developed residential area.

Coastal marine beach. The beach forms a small cove approximately 150 metres long with fine sandy sediments accumulated on the southern side of a rocky granite promontory. The shoreline is rocky elsewhere, consisting of micro-cliffs and granite formations sculpted by wave action.

Location

Plœmeur municipality, western Morbihan department, Brittany region, France. The beach is located on the western facade of Plœmeur, part of the Lorient metropolitan area. It is sheltered by a rocky promontory on its northern side.
