Lindholm Brygge is a bathing platform constructed in 2022 on the north side of Limfjorden in Nørresundby, Denmark. The platform was built by a residential association to provide safe water access for residents of the PFA college. Water quality monitoring began in the 2023 bathing season, with samples analyzed for E. coli and intestinal enterococci bacteria. The bathing area is surrounded by residential areas, green spaces, and a small marina.

Water

Limfjorden (fjord). The bathing platform is approximately 20 meters long and 3 meters wide. Water depth along the platform is 1–2 meters, increasing to 2–3 meters at the platform's end and approximately 11 meters in the center of the fjord. The seabed is sandy. Typical salinity in Limfjorden ranges from 22–30 ‰. Limfjorden has shifting current direction, predominantly flowing east, with currents that can be very strong.

Location

Located on the north side of Limfjorden in Nørresundby, Denmark. The bathing platform is positioned in front of a green area on the western side of the PFA college at Lindholm Brygge 35. Parking information is not specified.

Facilities

Waste bins are available in the recreational area near the bathing platform. Lifeguards, toilets, showers, and disabled access are not mentioned.

Water Quality

Risk of phytoplankton blooms due to relatively high nutrient content; bathing is discouraged in unclear water. Occasional occurrences of glass shards, debris, and chemical pollution including oil spills are possible. Strong currents can occur.
