Lyngsø is a 10-hectare lake in southern Silkeborg, Denmark, formed in a dead-ice hole from the last ice age. The lake has an average depth of 2.4 metres and a maximum depth of 7.6 metres, with a predominantly muddy bottom containing high organic content. Water plants are present and expanding throughout the lake, contributing to biological balance and water clarity. The lake's water quality has been restored through lake rehabilitation completed in 2021.
