Nord Agnena is a sandy bathing water area located near the mouth of the Agnena Canal in Mondragone, Caserta. The beach features sparse urbanization running parallel to the coast with pine forests inland. The bathing water has been classified as Excellent based on monitoring results from 2020–2023.

Risks

The bathing water receives direct and indirect wastewater from municipal sewage networks serving multiple municipalities via the Agnena Canal and its tributaries. Some contributing sewage systems lack treatment, including those from Francolise (S. Andrea del Pizzone network), Giano Vetusto, and Grazzanise. Treated wastewater discharges from industrial sources and overflow systems also enter the water body.
