A bathing area located between Bagni Paina Nord and Capoluogo Nord on Lake Garda in Malcesine, Veneto. The beach is west-facing and situated in a natural inlet in the central part of Malcesine, at the base of the cliff where Malcesine Castle stands. The beach width ranges from 5 to 10 metres.

Malcesine, Verona Province, Veneto Region. The bathing area is in the central zone of the municipality, oriented westward along the natural inlet beneath Malcesine Castle.

Water Quality

Water quality classification is excellent (2021-2024). Enterococcus intestinalis 95th percentile: 17.089; 90th percentile: 10.781. Escherichia coli 95th percentile: 23.646; 90th percentile: 14.975.

Risks

Identified pollution sources include river mouths (Val Bona and Vaio Rovina). Wastewater treatment infrastructure includes a municipal combined sewer system with emergency overflows, a consortium collector, stormwater discharge pipes, and the Peschiera del Garda treatment plant, which discharges into the Mincio River in Lombardy.
