Havnen i Øster Hurup is a bathing area located in Øster Hurup with an excellent water quality classification. The beach stretches approximately 800 metres and varies from 10 to 25 metres in width. A summer house area lies above the beach, with a natural area of low grass and shrub vegetation between the outermost row of houses and the shore. The seabed consists of soft sand and mud with very shallow water, creating a tidal flat character. The distance from shore to 2 metres depth is approximately 140 metres.
