Dokkedal Badestrand is a bathing beach located on the east coast of Jutland at Kattegat, approximately 9 km south of the eastern outlet of Limfjorden. The area is very shallow with a sandy beach 650 meters long and 6 meters wide at the shoreline. The best bathing area is at the end of a bathing pier that extends from a mole, where seaweed content is minimal. Water samples are collected during the bathing season and analysed for E. coli and intestinal enterococci bacteria.
