Les Sablettes Est is a 1 km long, semi-enclosed sandy beach with fine sand located in La Seyne-sur-Mer. The beach is 20 meters wide and easy to access. It is frequently visited and has two showers connected to the storm drainage system. The beach is adjacent to Saint Elme port and near the Cap Sicié wastewater treatment plant outfall, which discharges 50,000 cubic meters per day with surface release, with potential impact during south-westerly winds. A floating basin was added for the 2024 season.

Identified pollution sources: Medium risk of contaminated water discharge from Saint Elme port; medium risk of street wash water directly discharged onto beach; low risk of bacterial pollution from street runoff via storm collectors; low risk of overflow from pump station due to malfunction; low risk of grease discharge from beach restaurant; medium risk of dog excrement pollution. Risk of pollution from wastewater treatment plant outfall, particularly during south-westerly winds.
