Cambriles is a beach in Lujar, Granada, located on the Mediterranean coast of Andalucía. The beach stretches 495 metres in length with an average width of 45 metres and features dark sand composition. Bathing conditions are characterised by calm waters with moderate wave exposure. The beach has low occupancy and urban development.

Mediterranean coastal water body, deep waters with muddy-sandy substrate. Micromareal range of 0-2 metres. Currents dominant towards the east, east-southeast, and east-northeast. Wave regime dominant from east and east-northeast associated with levante wind.

Location

Lujar municipality, Granada province, Andalucía, Spain. Access is on foot or by car. The nearest sports port is Adra.

Facilities

Showers available. Waste bins and cleaning service present. Lifeguard post and rescue equipment absent. Signalling absent. No disabled access. No nautical rentals or naval club. No underwater diving zone.

Water quality classified as Excellent for all monitoring seasons 2013-2016. Moderate short-term microbiological pollution risk (24 hours) from diffuse sources including land use, built and altered surfaces, and agricultural areas. Identified point source: Conde de los Andes wastewater treatment plant (GR700). Rambla de Gualchos is the associated watercourse.
