Water Quality

Water quality rated as excellent during 2000–2009 and 2010–2011. The beach is located in the coastal water mass 'Mojón-Cabo de Palos', which has good ecological status. Toxic phytoplankton proliferation is a natural phenomenon that rarely affects public health; sampling conducted in 2008 and 2009 showed no practically significant presence of potentially toxic cells.

Risks

Jellyfish risk during episodes of short duration is low, with seasonal appearance periods from early spring to late summer. Toxic phytoplankton proliferation risk is null or very low.
