Sandkaj Badezone is a bathing area located on Sandkaj in Copenhagen Harbour. The bathing site measures 80 by 40 metres and is positioned against a wooden pier with water depths of 6 to 7 metres. The water is salt and experiences variable currents ranging from weak to strong, shifting regularly between north and south directions. The zone is open for swimming year-round but operates without lifeguard supervision, so swimming is at the bather's own risk. Risks from cyanobacteria, phytoplankton growth, and macroalgae are all assessed as low.
