Scogliera Miramare is a bathing area located east of the Genova Nervi harbor in Liguria, Italy. The area is characterized by rocky outcrops and low cliffs facing the seafront promenade and parks of Genova Nervi. It is classified as coastal water with mountainous features and low stability. The bathing water achieved an excellent quality classification from 2008 to 2011.

Location

Genova (Genoa), Liguria region, Italy. Located east of the Nervi harbor. Nearest contact authorities are Palazzo Tursi in central Genoa and Guardia Costiera (Coast Guard) at via Magazzini Generali.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2008–2011). No coastal treatment plants, discharge pipes, or Imhoff tanks are present. The Ligurian Sea is not characterized by cyanobacterial blooms due to predominantly oligotrophic conditions. No cases of potentially toxic algal strains have been recorded in the past four years.

The Ligurian Sea is not characterized by cyanobacterial blooms or proliferation of toxic macroalgae, microalgae, or potentially toxic species.
