Club Mediterranée beach is a sandy beach with low, gently sloping sandy seabed enclosed between two promontories. The beach is 60 metres wide and backed by dune systems with typical Mediterranean scrub vegetation. The area experiences a dry subtropical climate with hot summers and modest winter rainfall.

Part of the Sicilian Channel (Canale di Sicilia), specifically coastal section 15. Sandy seabed with low gradient.

Location

Ragusa, Sicily. The beach is easily accessible and partly used by the Club Mediterranée residential village. The bathing area extends 1.5 kilometres along the coast.

Facilities

The beach is both free and equipped with services. Access for animals is permitted.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent. The area is not served by sewerage; the tourist complex has its own wastewater treatment facility. Adjacent agricultural activities are potential sources of pollution. Stormwater discharges and overflow structures are present.

Risks

Heavy rainfall can cause stormwater overflow to reach bathing waters. Erosive phenomena are present in the area.
